Austin, TX indie art rock/power pop band Of The Roses announce the release of the Mirror’s Always Round EP, featuring the single “Friends” mixed by Franz Ferdinand’s Julian Corrie (Miaoux Miaoux), available December 2, 2022, via Slaughter Lane Records and Sister Polygon Records. The single "Friends" is now available now on all digital download and streaming services. Check out the official music video directed by the band themselves and Robert Lloyd Moore! It features a whole bunch of glam and new wave music nerd references, as well as horror and thriller film nerd references from some of my favorite movies. SINGLE: “Friends” centers around a story of control and paranoia, featuring a distinct combination of dance rock, psych noise, and hypnotic pop hooks. EP: The Mirror’s Always Round EP showcases the duo’s knack for weaving stylized indie rock riffs and pop songwriting; hear the power Britpop of “Fear” and “Gone,” the bounciness of Motown-inspired guitar accents on the shoegaze-y “I Hope You Love Me More,” and the heavy grooves of “Falling Through (Ah)” and “Friends.” Together, Serenity Autumn and Josh Delarosa create a striking palette embraced by a powerful rhythm section. The Mirror’s Always Round EP will be available December 2, 2022 via all digital download and streaming services, and on CD via Bandcamp. Click here to pre-order yours now! Tracklist:
