Of The Roses is an Austin, TX-based indie/alternative art rock & power pop band led by.singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Serenity Autumn Hernandez Bogert and Josh Delarosa.

Bio:
Hernandez Bogert (who goes by her first and middle names, Serenity Autumn) is a queer, Latina/mixed singer-songwriter and guitarist. Before pursuing music, she took a short detour through UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business in the fall of 2016. A week before her final exams, she was admitted to the hospital due to severe type 1 diabetes complications. For 6 months, she was surrounded by four white walls, and did not eat or drink anything the entire time: There, she realized her passion for music and taught herself how to play guitar. After being released from her near-death bed in spring 2017, Hernandez Bogert found beloved work at an Austin record store and as an usher and audio team stagehand at various venues in Austin & her hometown of San Antonio.
Josh Delarosa is a Latino songwriter and guitarist. He began his musical journey learning how to play drums from his father, then, as a teenager, taught himself how to play guitar and bass. He has honed his writing and performing skills in the south Texas music scenes for over 12 years, and is a writer whose songs have been featured on local and national radio.
The two met via the San Antonio music scene, when Hernandez Bogert enlisted Delarosa to play bass in a community theatre's one-off variety show house band. During jam and rehearsal sessions with the variety show house band, the two discovered their shared love for varied styles of music, including New Wave, Riot Grrrl, Britpop, Motown and more. They soon began songwriting together in 2020, and in 2021 enlisted Austin scene friends Will Lord, Aly Hicks and Alexander "Wilhelm Scream" to record and perform bass, keyboards and drums live.
Prior to forming Of The Roses, Hernandez Bogert and Delarosa previously led other musical projects which saw them working in the studio with Austin superstar Jackie Venson and performing as an Official SXSW Showcasing Artist opening for Priests and D.C-based label Sister Polygon Records in 2019.
In December 2022, Of The Roses released their first EP, Mirror's Always Round, feauturing the single 'Friends' mixed by Franz Ferdinand's Julian Corrie.
